I had the same problem in my 98' rodeo and the tube running to the EGR valve was clogged, taking the EGR valve off and spraying carb cleaner down the tube unclogged it and it fixed the problem

The shift lock on the solenoid is located under the shift lever cover. When the brake is depressed it then unlocks the shifter of the vehicle. If this does not unlock the solenoid then it will need to be replaced.
Well to my understanding, you have to drop the transmission pan, remove the gaskets (you will need new ones later), then drain the fluid, then replace with new gaskets and replace pan, then refill fluid. I don't know how else to do it myself.
It is possible that the fuel pump has gone bad. This can happen if a car runs completely out of gas, never go below 1/4 a tank.

PO300 is a random misfire. Meaning it is not just missing on, say cylinder #1, but it missing on all cylinders at random intervals. Check for vacuum leaks. It can be plug wires arcing across each other. Can be intake manifold gasket leak.
