Because its a POS.. j/k could be a bad fuse/relay or the motor is bad. but serious its a POS..
Blown fuse?
more than likely you have a blown fuse in the fusebox for the power windows.
To jumpstart a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, first ensure both vehicles are turned off. Connect the red jumper cable to the positive terminal of the dead battery, then to the positive terminal of the working battery. Next, attach the black jumper cable to the negative terminal of the working battery, and connect the other end to a metal ground on the dead vehicle, such as an unpainted bolt. Start the working vehicle, let it run for a few minutes, and then attempt to start the Cutlass Supreme.
I dont think there is a fuse for it. My speedometer stopped working in my cutty too. Its a cord that they have to replace. Take it to a shop, they'll tell you.
Yes, if the blower isn't working. If it turns out to be the fuse, and it blows again, you probably have a bad blower motor.
Why is the electric coolant fan in your 1989 Oldsmobile cutlass cierra not working?
Yes what do I do
Possibly a bad ground in the rear wiring harness somewhere.
Low coolant? Cooling fan not working? Water pump not circulating water? System airbound? Radiator plugged or restricted? Thermostat not fully opening?
replace the alternator if your system isn't charging.
I had a very similar problem on my 95 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme. After hours of pain staking work I finally found that a wire was loose. The wire is coated red and is beneath the fuse box on the drivers side directly behind the windshield wash tank. There is an eyelet on the end of the wire and one screw holding it in place directly under the fuse box. As soon as I tightened the screw my problem went away.
When working on a car it is important to have the diagram for the parts. A wiring diagram can be found in maintenance books sold at auto shops.
