first of all check your fuel pressure. it should be at least 7-10 psi.then you should check fuel filter. then next would be the fuel pump. other problems could be air filter or map sensor.
2 seconds
Humans can Not survive on Saturn. The giant gas planet has a gravitational pull that would crush a human being in seconds. It is not possible for a human being to survive on Saturn for more than mere seconds.
I would be very surprised if they would pay for a new engine. They may pay for resulting fire and smoke damage to the van other than the item that caused the fire but as far as replacing the engine, I think you're on your own.
choke not working
That would usually denote the engine size as being 3.1 litres.
The fuel pump only runs for a couple seconds after the initial start attempt, then shuts off. Crank the engine for a few seconds. Then turn it off and then do it again for a few more seconds. Do this several times in order to get the fuel to the engine. After a few attempts, the engine should start.. Hope this helps...
Nothing provided the engine is not started up. With no oil, a running engine would eventually seize up.
If the cat was totally blocked, the engine may start and run briefly for a few seconds. If the cat was partially blocked the engine would run but lack serious power.
If there is a hole in the engine then something came out or tried to come out. If by chance the engine started and ran again it would run poorly and not for long. I would advise to have a mechanic determine what to do next, don't drive it.
i dont know but would like to know!!!
the first thing i would check would be all your belts, then from there you are going to want to plug in a computer dignostics system to make sure that all your sensors are working, then it could be any thing from a spun bearing to a walked crank but best bet would be belt good luck
A bad fuel injector can cause an engine to continue running, for a few seconds, after the engine to shut off. The engine continues to run because of excessive fuel in a piston.
