Why would your Ford F-150 start and run about 10 minutes then quit?

Your question brings up more questions like the age, and the mileage on your truck. first i will assume that it is an older truck with lots of miles on it (or could be a newer one, depending on where u get your gas. my first thought is that u have a partially blocked, or plugged gas filter that is letting in enough fuel to start and then run for a while, but quits when the pump can not push enough gas threw the filter. The second thing i would check is the fuel pump, is it able to pump enough pressure to get the fuel up to the engine. the third option is if it is i newer truck (could happen on and older one too) that there might be a problem in the electronics.
