I've seen it done without modifications to the wheel wells...

15" wheels with low profile tires WILL fit.

Keep in mind, with that 4x100mm bolt pattern, wheels to fit are going to be hard to find. I'd suggest deeply researching the Aspire Big Brake swap. You can find details of this, simply Google 'Project Festiva' or 'Festiva Brake Swap.' It's a popular change, considering you get 3 times the stopping power, plus better handling with the Aspire front suspension. Just be forewarned: this swap requires pulling everything from the trailing arm out, on the rear, and the complete knuckle/hub assemblies up front.
