TJ seats can generally fit a CJ7 with some modifications, as the mounting points and dimensions differ between the two models. While the seat frames may need to be adjusted or custom brackets created, many Jeep enthusiasts have successfully installed TJ seats in a CJ7. It's important to consider the seat width and height to ensure a proper fit and comfort. Overall, with some effort, you can make TJ seats work in a CJ7.
No, they are not interchangeable.
A YJ Wrangler, yes. They will not fit on a TJ or JK.
No, a Jeep TJ soft top will not fit on a CJ7. The two models have different body styles and mounting systems, which means their soft tops are not compatible. The TJ soft top is designed specifically for the TJ’s frame and body configuration, while the CJ7 has its own unique design. If you're looking to replace the soft top on a CJ7, it's best to find one specifically made for that model.
YES! With a little trimming to the front edge, about 3/4", it will fit. if you dont trim enough the front top of the door may not line up perfectly but with a little patience and slowly trimming you can get it perfect. Took me a half hour to make it fit perfectly. Tools; die grinder and cut off wheel. Everything else in the rear fits just fine, you can either drill a couple holes and bolt the top to the tub or use c-clamps. CJ7 and YJ tops fit a TJ with trimming. TJ tops will not fit CJ7 or YJ.
Grand Cherokee Laredo Seats
CJ7 half doors are not a direct fit for a Jeep TJ due to differences in door design and dimensions. However, with some modifications, such as altering the door hinges and adjusting the mounting points, it may be possible to make them work. It's important to consider the aesthetic and functional implications of such modifications before proceeding.
no
Those doors should actually work, the body from the firewall back did not change all that much.
all tops from 1978 cj7 to 1995 yj fit
no they will not fit. this is because the parts of jeeps (for the most part) work with only their same year range. Examples Cj's, Yj's, Tj's, JK's
yes.. I have one on my 1982 cj7
Maybe, but I don't believe so. CJ7 works on a YJ, but I'm almost positive TJ's arent interchangeable.
