We have changed several of these out for drag racing. To change out the 700r4 you will need a converter-transmission-drive shaft(longer)-aftermarket crossmember that will have the torque arm mount on it. Also the shifter will need to be addressed. The conversion is not a cheap one to say the least. It is great for drag racing but you loose the overdrive and about 5-6 mpg minimum. If you are just doing the swap because you need a transmission-find a good 700r4-it's a lot less expensive and better on gas mileage. Good luck!!
