I do not know for sure. but I do know you can get an adaptor plate to bolt it up to a 700r4. Butthey are very expensive.
i have a Chevy colorade 2006 and i am wondering what u have to do to convert a front wheel drive into a four wheel drive, and has rear wheel drive TRADE IT
yes, all auroras are front wheel drive only
Nope. The 4wd transmission has a different output shaft, plus, even if the driveshaft did fit, you'd leave a large opening in the back, since the 4wd variant was designed to have a transfer case attached to it.
Yeah, why not.
install a differential
No. A "all wheel drive" is all the time four wheel drive. A 4x4 or 4-wheel drive can be set to drive in two wheel drive or four wheel drive.
If it is a 1/2 ton then it MUST have a 4-wheel drive 4L60E transmission put in it. If it is a 3/4 ton then it MUST have the 4L80E 4-wheel drive transmission put back in it. 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive transmissions are different. They will NOT interchange.
The 3/4 tons used the 4L80E in them. The 1/2 tons used the 4L60E in them. That's factory. It don't matter if it's a 4-wheel drive are a 2-wheel drive.
It should already be four wheel drive.
It isn't feasible to convert from two wheel drive to four wheel drive.
Yes you have to poke it really hard
