No it will not.
I believe the starter motor sits in the galley under the intake manifold.
The 1998 most likely has a Northstar engine. On this engine the starter is under the intake, and the intake has to come off for replacement.
its on the back of the engine under the intake manifold
its on the back of the engine under the intake manifold
Hopefully I'm assuming correctly, your Seville contains a Northstar engine. The starter is located in the center of the engine under the intake manifold. If that sounds unbelieveable to you, don't go near it, bring it to Cadillac. Good luck
What engine? and ensure it is a bad gasket, not an intake plentum.
On a 1998 Ford Windstar, the IMRC (Intake Manifold Runner Control) valves are located on the intake manifold. Specifically, they are situated on the driver's side of the engine, near the rear of the manifold assembly. Accessing them may require removing the intake manifold cover for better visibility and reach. These valves help optimize airflow through the intake manifold at different engine speeds.
under the intake manifold you have to remove the engine cover to get to it.
directly under the intake manifold
Changing an alternator in a northstar requires removing the intake manifold,as it is under there. I would suggest getting a service manual for all the details. Good luck Almost but not quite true. Under the intake manifold is the starter not the alternator!!!
it could be a head leaking or the intake manifold, if its coming from the very top its most likely the intake manifold gasket
Front passenger corner of the intake manifold.
