It wil just make it alot stiffer and you will feel just about every little bump on the road. It will also give you more ground clearance in the back. You would be beeter off getting new struts and springs. Unless you don't have the money get the spacers, better than bottoming out.

Oem coil spring compressor part 27035 is this compressor strong enough to use on your gmc sierra 2500 or do you need a different coil spring compressor?

I would not use this on a Heavy duty type of spring. This has a tendency to slip off the spring and does not have a long range of travel.

How can you replace the front coil springs on a 1990 muatang gt with out buying the ford coil spring compressor?

**** BE CAREFUL DOING THIS YOURSELF ***** **** DO NOT ATTEMPT WITHOUT A COIL SPRINNG COMPRESSOR **** You DO NOT want to see what happens when you pry the coil spring out of there with a crow bar. Like those teeth and that pretty face? Dont do it.... The coil spring may decompress spring out and hit you in the head. It would not be pretty. Please take it to a shop and have them do it or worst ccase, buy the Ford spring compressor. It WILL be much cheaper than the medical bills or funeral expenses.

How does diameter of spring coil affect the force constant?

The diameter of a spring coil does not directly affect the force constant of the spring. The force constant is primarily determined by the material of the spring and the number of coils. However, a larger diameter may result in a softer spring with more flexibility.

How do you lift a Chevy tracker?

The 1st generation of Trackers were manufactured from 89-1998. The 2nd generation of Trackers were manufactured from 1999 thru 2004 when Chevy discontinued their partnership with Suzuki on building these trucks. The 2nd generation Tracker had a wider frame than the 1st so parts aren't interchangable between the 1st and 2nd gen model years. You can "lift" the Chevy Tracker three different ways:1. Increase the tire diameter. This raises the truck proportional to the height of the tire. Greater than a half inch increase in tire diameter would require higher diff gear ratios to maintain the appropriate mechanical advantage to the drive train.2. Use coil spring spacers. A 1.5" thick coli spacer (max thickness) on top of the front coil springs with a 2" spacer on top of the rear coil springs will raise your truck 2" evenly. Several aftermarket companies produce these coil spacer kits ready made, to include a strut spacer as well. Thsi would require longer shocks such as those normally found on Ford's Crown Vic line of cars.3. Purchase a complete aftermarket spring, strut and shock kit like those offered by Old Man Emu, which is a subunit of ARB and manufactured in Australia. This will provide you a 2" lift and vastly improve your on road and off-road ride. I have OME on my truck. Well worth it.

What is the cheapest way to lift a 1995 Jeep Cherokee if you dont want to put much money in to it?

Spacers in the coil springs or a spacer at the top of the coil spring is the cheapest way to get an inch or so. If you go much more than several inches higher you will start to affect steering geometry and these types of lifts will cost a lot more.
