no it will not, because they're not connected with the same switch
Headlights, interior lights stop working.checked all fuses. I would suspect the headlight switch and/or the electrical connection at the headlight switch is faulty.
Blown fuse or a door switch is hanging up.
It sounds like a blown fuse or a bad head light switch
If the interior and parking lights are not working on a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder, the first fuses to check would be the interior light fuse. Also check to make sure the light switch is in the right position to allow the interior lights to come on.
You can typically find the relay switch for interior lights in the vehicle's fuse box, which is often located under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. Some vehicles may also have a dedicated relay panel. Refer to your vehicle’s owner manual for specific locations and diagrams to identify the correct relay for the interior lights.
Check fuses if there is one specific for the lights (not interior) Find it funny that both would burn out at the same time so would imagine it is in the switch.
Just a guess , has your guage lighting dimmer wheel switch been rotated all the way down ( or to one side ) ? I believe that will turn off all the interior lights It is located to the right of your headlight switch
AnswerCheck the fuse Check the control switch on dash (if any) labeled with a light bulb symbolMy Interior lights worked when I turned them on manually with the roll switch, but when I set the switch to neutral and placed the auto switch to on, so that when the doors were opened the light should come on, they would not.Answer: The little push switch located on the side of the dash when the door is closed its pressed in by the door, when the door is open the switch springs out and the light comes on. If this switch is bad or has a short (jiggle) interior lights wont work when door is open and dash is set to AUTO. Replace!
First guess would be a bad switch.
Sometimes the instrument panel dimmer switch also has another "detent" that turns on the interior lights without one opening one of the doors. The other thing that could have happened is that one of the door switches may have a loose wire, which would "open" the switch and cause the lights to stay on.
There are several things that can cause it. One of the door switches may be misadjusted, the headlight switch adjusted so the interior lights come on or a malfuncton in the headlight switch. You just have to check it out. those things check out fine. is there a module that could be the problem?
start off by checking all door switches. Then check the interior switch on the dashboard. I mean by checking as in bypassing switch or disconntection of the switch. If you have the theater dimmer or the delay dimmers you would check that also.. Thanx Dom
