THESE SLOTS ARE LOCATED WHERE THE UPPER CONTROL ARM BOLTS TO THE FRAME. IT IS VERY HARD TO SEE THEM UNLESS YOU REMOVE THE BOLTS THAT HOLD THE UPPER CONROL ARM IN PLACE. ONCE THE BOLTS ARE OUT AND THE CONTROL ARM IS PULLED OUT OF THE WAY YOU WILL NOTICE FACTORY PRE CUT SLOTS...... BUT THE FACTORY LEAVES THE OLD SLUGS IN THE SLOT SO THE FACTORY ALLINGMENT WON'T CHANGE. UNFORTUNATLY THESES PIECES OF FRAME ARE NOT CUT ALL THE WAY OUT. THEY ARE STILL ATTACHED TO THE FRAME BY A LITTLE BIT OF METAL. THESE PIECES ARE REFERRED TO AS "KNOCK OUTS". TO GET THEM OUT USUALLY REQUIRES A SPECIAL TOOL THAT PRESSES THEM OUT. THE TOOL IS SMALL AND NOT TOO EXPENSIVE BUT CAN BE VERY FRUSTRATING TO USE. MOST ALLIGNMENT SHOP DON'T EVEN USE THEM. THEY JUST CUT IT OUT WITH A OXY ACETYLENE TORCH. IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T GOT THE IDEA ALREADY THIS JOB IS MISERABLE!!! MAKE THE ALIGMENT SHOP DO IT! ITS WORTH THE FEW EXTRA BUCKS...
