The AC has to be dischared, and the AC lines have to be removed at the firewall. The AC drier has to be remved, because there are nuts on the outside of the firewall under the hood to remove that are hidden by the drier. I believe there are 4 nuts to remove, but there might only be three.

You can replace it from top, the dpfe sensor is located under the throttle at the drivers side of the engine and it hooks on two pipes and electric connector. You have to remove the air cleaner, MAF sensor, throttle and the throttle sensor connector to get to it. It is hidden behind few hoses and connectors so you need too look real hard.
