Could the apocalypes happen today

Well, the saying that no one can predict the future is dead wrong. The Apocalypse could happen for a number of reasons, I'll try to cover them all.

WAR: Lets start with the most feared form of apocalypse, whether is be nuclear, bio, or chemical war. People have always had fear that war will tear the world apart, and this is true, with todays events with N. Korea, Israel, Russia, China, and Tensions with spying on allies in Europe, war could break out over any number of reasons. War can also relate to resources which I will cover next. Nuclear, Bio, and Chemical war could Obliterate all living life off the face of the Earth with major nuclear power holders like Iran, India, and Russia, having thousands of rockets that could wipe out each other at any major provocation. Chemical weapons are banned by the Geneva convention but it's pretty easy to make and conceal them as it took months to confirm that Syria had used Chemical Weapons against rebels. War is a very possible threat that could happen at any time, it could tear the very earth apart and choke out everything mankind holds dear.

THE ENVIRONMENT: Lets follow up with the second most certain form of death humanity faces. Science has not put it bluntly for mankind; We are as Blind as **** when it comes to facing our environmental issues, The world has failed to address overpopulation, (The biggest cause since men and woman can't hold it in their pants) global warming, rainforest destruction, super bacteria resistant because of us slowly giving them immunity, depletion of drinkable water, Depletion of food, Wildfires from said water depletion, Pollution, overfishing, and Dying animal species. Unless people actually start caring and making a difference as a whole, the worlds finished. Already, violent weather, temperature, food shortages, water shortages, and space shortages means that mankind is going to get screwed unless it can pull its **** together and work together. Not to conserve as that is not a solution but to shorten population of people, and preserve rather then conserve. Conserve is not an solution, but preserve is a long term solution and short term solution.

EACH OTHER: Lets start with the topic similar to war, but not quite. We've seen movies about a Dystopia, whether it involves the government or the general collapse of society. People can harm other people, the US has a school shooting during the school year every other week it seems, people choose not to get involved and turn a blind eye to bullying, beatings, kidnappings, and other things unless it directly affects them. Movies like the Purge: Anarchy, show that we can have a Utopia as long as we preserve our hate until we vent it all out on society. That hate is a force eternal as long as humanity and society exists.

MACHINES: Okay, now we move into what I believe is the most ridiculous ideas ever, the idea that we will create a machine that would turn on us and lead an uprising (Which will be next) Popular movies like the Terminator Franchise will never happen as by the time we are able to make a machine that would turn on humanity with full force, we'd be dead from the environmental issues. If we turn the machines on each other, then yes machines will be our downfall. Uprising Everyone knows that your government hides things from you but what if the whole government from the president to internal affairs was corrupt, internal affairs deals with corruption and abuse, without it, corruption is free. A revolution could take place, and if you've seen what happened to Syria and Ukraine. It could be the end for life as we now know it.

OVERALL: Any of these issues threatens to tip our world over the edge, if we really want to survive we must unite or fall apart. Thank you for reading this far.
