they were the acts that made the colonists start the Boston tea party... they housed british soldiers in to colonists houses
Because innocent colonists died from British soldiers in the Boston Massacre, and the Boston Tea Party made the King furious and take away almost every right Boston had, so it made the colonists angry at Britain.
It was either the Proclamation of 1763, or the Intolerable Acts.

colonists were upset over taxation without representation
Great Britain and the colonists had a hostile relationship after the Revolutionary War. After the war, the colonies may or may not have trust issues with the British. However, the British and the colonists probably had discomfort with each other.
One reason for the deterioration of relations between the British and the colonists were that the colonies were restricted to trading only with England. The other reason for deterioration is the fact that England taxed the colonies an exorbitant amount.
Although the British won the 7 Years War (also known as the French & Indian Wars) in 1763, relations between the UK and the Colonials soon became strained. The British expected the colonists to support them economically by shipping cheap raw materials to Britain and buying expensive finished good in return, while the colonists wanted to be treated as equals.

Jigerboo!
The outcome could strain relations between the British and the American Colonists if the colonists feel resentment towards British authority for unfavorable decisions. However, if the outcome is favorable, it could strengthen relations by fostering greater trust and cooperation between the two parties.
There has been good relations between Pakistan and Britain after 1947 because of the post independence migration.
