I assume you are referring to Richard Dobbs Spaight (1758-1802), who was a signer of the U.S. Constitution. Although he was a strong supporter of George Washington, he seems to have been converted to the view of the Jeffersonian Republicans, who selected their presidential candidates with a caucus comprised of members of congress. This system soon proved unworkable, and was later discarded; but Spaight did not live to see it fail-- he was killed as a result of a duel in 1802, when he was only forty-five. I enclose a link to a site about his life, and that of his son, who also went into politics.
public opinion
When a senator gets elected they serve for six years in one term (a representative serves two years in their term.) They can get re-elected as many times as they want until they die or commit a felony. In my opinion, members of congress need to have term limits like the president does so corruption in the capitol would reduce. Some senators have been there for 42 years!
When the people on the opposite party do not like what the President is doing.
Thomas Jefferson in his Inaugural Speech
yes WilliamMcKinley Was a good president in my opinion. He was president from 1897-1901. Unfortunately he was assassinated in 1901 by Leon Frank Czolgosz.
He was elected president 100 years after George Washington was elected president of the United States.
yes he would be a horrible president
Yes! He was duly elected and there is no reason why he should resign anyway. A different opinion: I do not think he should. I want president Oboma back!!
Ivo Josipović was the president of Croatia in 2011. Elected in 2010 as the third president of the Republic of Croatia, he took office on 2010 February 18. He has a PhD in Law and Music and was a famous university professor before taking oath as a president. Josipović has become as popular as the former president Mesić in opinion polls. He is elected for a 5 year term.

Whether or not Hillary should be President of the United States is a matter of personal opinion. If she does not reflect the values and goals of the majority of people in the United States, she should not be elected. If she does reflect the majority's values and goals, she should be elected. This is true of any candidate, regardless of political affiliation.
He just didn't know what to do. He was very suprised that he was elected and he made hard decisions. Overall he just wasn't prepared, especially on September 11, 2001. Whether he was a bad president or not is a matter of opinion.
The Electoral College formally elects the president. The Electoral College is elected based on population of that state and the persons elected cast the vote majority of their state. Although, not all Electoral College representatives cast the majority vote, some cast the vote based on their own opinion. See the last election, Bush and Gore. Al Gore won the popular vote, yet George W. Bush became president because of the Electoral College.
Whether Gerald Ford was a "good President" is a matter of personal opinion. Everyone has an opinion and no one has a "right answer."
who are Richard nicholls and delancy nicholls? and if you want my opinion, i think no
This amendment was passed by Congress on March 23, 1917 and ratified on July 1, 1971 while Richard Nixon was president. However, the president is not part of the amendment process. Proposed amendments do not require the approval of the President. Of course the president can give his opinion and lobby for or against an amendment, but he can not veto it. If he signs it, his signature has no legal bearing on it.
