Genetics have nothing to do with survival of a bullet into or through the heart. The strongest, most athletic, muscular, longest living man will usually die from a gunshot to the heart. What helps survival is how bad the wound is - a small caliber bullet can lodge in the left ventricle wall or even enter into the chamber and people have survived - however any wound of the right ventricle, major artery or vein results in a quick bleed out or tamponade and death usually is the outcome. Getting medical help quickly also is a major factor. Empress Elizabeth of Austria lived long enough to walk to her ship, reach her state room and only when her girdle/corset was removed did she suddenly die (20 minutes later) from a stab wound to her heart. The pressure of the corset kept her alive.
Andrew Jackson
Alexander Hamilton was killed in a duel with Aaron Burr. Andrew Jackson had a duel with a man who was quicker with a pistol than he was,so Jackson let the other man shoot first and then took careful aim and killed the other guy. The other guy missed Jackson's heart because his coat lapel bloused up and disguised its exact location, but did not miss by much. The bullet was too close to the heart to be removed safely so Jackson kept it the rest of his life.
President Jackson lived with a bullet right under his heart most of his life. He sustained this injury in a duel with Charles Dickinson in May 1806. After Charles Dickinson shot him, Jackson shot and killed Dickinson.
heart attack or heart disease
an actual heart
I don't know who he is, but bullet wounds to the heart are survivable if the bullet doesn't do enough damage.
Yes, it's quite possible to survive from bullet wounds at any time including the 1920's, it all depends what injury the bullet causes, a flesh wound in the arm, leg, buttocks etc. is not usually fatal, if the bullet hits a vital organ such as the heart or brain, causes serious internal injuries or the wound becomes infected then you are in trouble.
Spock's heart (as established in the Star Trek episode "A Private Little War") is located where a human's liver is located. This allows him to survive a bullet shot through the back where a human would die.
Yes
Remain calm, keep the bitten area below the level of the heart, avoid moving and get to medical care as soon as possible.
no the brain needs the oxygen from the blood fromt the heart to survive
Like a inch
to survive
The bullet kills your brain, which controls your heart, and the heart stops beating.
Andrew Jackson. The bullet was received in a duel over the honor of his his wife, Rachel.
no you can not survive without a heart because the heart pumps blood to the rest of your body and without the heart there would be no blood flowing through your body so you would be dead. So no you can not survive without the heart
you need it to survive
