An initiative
The model of representation that is based on legislators mirroring the preferences of their constituents is known as the "delegate model." In this model, elected officials act primarily as representatives who reflect the views and interests of the people who elected them, prioritizing their constituents' preferences over their own judgments or personal beliefs. This approach emphasizes accountability and responsiveness to the electorate's demands.
