And then she told them that she needed to buy flour and such and she did so they let her go. she knew she would see someone from the Continental army so she wrote in a book and when she did meet someone from the continental army she would give it to him and tell him to give it to George Washington because it was that the British where going to go and secretly attack the continental army so the continental army was prepared for battle. and that is why Lydia Darragh was and still famous.
