Yes they were. That election was at the same time the last one ever held until after the war. The fact that shorly afterwards Germany's Parliament building (the Reichstag) burned down suited the Nazis extremely well. It gave them at the same time an excuse to outlaw the Socialist and Communist parties - the presumed arsonist was a Dutch Communist - and to stop convening Parliament altogether.
Before spring of 1933, yes, there were many political parties that opposed the Nazis. After spring of 1933, there were not as many. All parties except the Nazi Party were abolished. Opposition was eliminated by Nazis' powerful police and internal security agencies (such as the Gestapo and the SS). But there were still some small groups that tried to resist the Nazis- and they tended to wind up being ruthlessly crushed. Some Catholic priests who spoke out against the excessive violence of the Nazi regime were arrested and sent to concentration camps; the Dachau camp had a special "Pfarrerblock" ("Priests' Section") just for clergy. There was also a small group of university students in Munich called the "White Rose" who made pamphlets and graffiti to try to build resistance to the Nazis. After a few months, they were arrested and executed- some were even executed by guillotine!Another group were the Swingjugend- the "Swing kids". These were mostly teenagers who enjoyed American music, especially jazz (which was banned by the Nazis because of its connection to African-Americans). They would meet in secret and listen to American music and dance. These too were crushed by the Nazis. On a side note, about 25 years ago Christian Bale was in a movie about them, appropriately titled "Swing Kids".

I think you are confused. The Nazis were German. They were from Germany.
Those that resisted from within the 'Third Reich' were killed, if they could be found. Very few that resisted survived.
