The difference between the American Revolution and Haitian Revolution was the American Revolution was gaining independence from Great Britain, but Haitian Revolution gained independence from France. ∙ 7y agoOnly the Haitian Revolution was motivated by a desire to end slavery. The American colonists were not treated as slaves, as were most of the black Haitian populace.
