If you live in Missouri and are wanting to move out at age 17 does this mean you have to get an emancipation or is 17 the legal age to move out without getting emancipated?

i think you need to be 18 to legally move out and i think at the age 16 you can get an emansapation and move out in Missouri you can move out at 17, but you parents are still legally and medically responcible for you, meaning if you get arrested they have to come bail you out and pay court costs, and if you get hurt or have medical bills they have to pay them, only until you are 18 though. it is best to talk to your local police officers, seeing as they are the ones your parents would contact when they find you gone. they will tell you exactly what you can and can't do. my local police officers told me that my parents couldn't do anything as long as I'm alright, not kidnapped or anything like that.
