By "stamp" I assume you're referring to what's called a mint mark, the letter that indicates which mint struck the coin. But there's never been a G mint mark on any US coin so whatever you have may have been added by someone using a metal punch. If so, that would make it an altered coin worth only its metal value, about 75% of the current price of 1 oz of silver. That changes every day so you need to consult a newspaper or precious-metals site for an up-to-date value.
In any case please post a new question with the coin's date for a more accurate answer.
I looked, the back of my five dollar bill isn't red, but thank you for aski g
YES! I have a coin in front of me from 1957. John G Diefenbaker!
The motto was only added to bills in the late 1950s, so any bill printed before that time will not have it and is NOT an error. The 1935 series was actually printed well into the 1950s so some 1935-G and all 1935-H bills have it; any with a lower series letter will not. A 1935-G bill with the motto is somewhat scarce and is worth about $5.

There is no "G silver dollar" (a coin) so I assume you're referring to a silver certificate. Please see the Related Question for more information.

A G stamp has a face value of 32 cents. You would have to add 27 cents to mail a letter with it.
Normally it would be necessary to have its denomination but the only bill fitting that description is a $1 silver certificate. Please see the question "What is the value of a 1935 G US 1 dollar silver certificate?" for detailed information.
The banner across its top and the blue seal indicate it's a silver certificate, a form of paper money that was discontinued in the 1960s. Please see the question "What is the value of a 1935 G US 1 dollar silver certificate?" for detailed information.
The G make up rate stamp was issued in 1994. It has a value of 3 cents.
Your coin is a bullion piece sold for its silver value. It fluctuates with the price of 1 oz of pure silver, around $18 as of 07/2008.
