A few of the weaknesses are as follows; * The Atlantic Ocean prevented quick communication between commanders in England, and fresh troops arriving in time. * Ranks in the British army at the time were often bought along with promotions therefore it was rarely the experience man that got the job only the rich. * The weather was new to most of the men who would never experience such heat back in England. * Clothes were suited to European fasions and weather, new uniforms were not issued in the 13 colonies. * Cities and states splintered betwen those who supported the revolution and those that wanted to stay loyal, consequently critical cities and areas of strategic importance were lost, leaving the Americans with a natural advantage. * When the French became involved the British ended up losing their naval suprememcy over the Americans. It is hard to say about moral as both the Americans and British felt they would win the War. - Hope this helped.
