The Department of State, whose head is the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
There are currently 172 embassies in Washington, D.C as of June 2008. Eventually there will be 173 when the Embassy of Kosovo officially opens sometime in the near future.
Article 2 describes the Executive Branch. It provides the requirements for being president. It also lists the various duties and responsibilities, as well as how the President is to be elected.
One notable event that was not an attack on American interests by al-Qaeda was the 1998 bombing of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. While this attack targeted American facilities and resulted in significant casualties, al-Qaeda's broader activities included various operations and incidents not directly aimed at U.S. interests, such as conflicts in regions where they sought to establish influence or engage with local groups without direct confrontation with the U.S. government. Additionally, al-Qaeda's focus has often extended to Western allies and local governments in Muslim-majority countries, rather than solely American targets.
