There is not just one Persian Empire. There are several. If you are specifically referring to the Persian Empire of Cyrus the Great, Darius, and Xerxes, that empire was overrun by Alexander the Great between 334-324 B.C.E.
There were three kings named Darius. Which one do you mean?
It was not the Greeks, it was the Macedonians, who used Greek and other mercenaries to support them. Alexander the Great king of Macedonia, spent ten years taking over the Persian Empire. He did this in three major battles which broke coordinated Persian resistance, and then dealt with the outlying provinces one at a time.
It was merely a Persian religious sect which did not have a political influence. The Persian Empire was divided into 20 provinces (satrapies) with a Persian governor (satrap), overseen by the king and his council, an entirely practical approach, not a religious one.
The ruler of the Persian Empire known as the "King of Kings" was Cyrus the Great. He founded the Achaemenid Empire and is renowned for his achievements in establishing one of the largest empires in ancient history, promoting tolerance and respect for the cultures and religions of the lands he conquered. His legacy includes the creation of the Cyrus Cylinder, often regarded as an early declaration of human rights. Cyrus's leadership and policies set the standard for future Persian rulers.

King Agsilaus II of Sparta began a successful attack on the Persian Empire In Asia Minor but was recalled to deal with problems at home. Sixty years later King Phillip II of Macedonia planned and organised the assault on the Persian Empire, but was assassinated on the eve of his departure. His son Alexander II (later called The Great) took over the project and succeeded.
The Persian Empire had no one to rebel against, it was the strongest power in the region until it was taken over by Alexander the Great.
