all the irrigation canals in Egypt would not be filled so the crops will not live and all of Egypt will starve if not already stocked up. all of Egypt will rely on trade to other countries because the rest of them will have nothing
Well because Egypt is 90% desert, their economy completely depends on the floods of the Nile River - especially for agriculture.
They made sacrifices to their Gods.
They needed to predict when the Nile river would flood
Along the flood plane of the Nile river and in the Nile delta.
it was important because they could estimate if or when the Nile is going to flood.
By observing the stars.
Essential! If the Nile didnt flood, the farmers and their families would die of starvation
yes because that brought water which in the water is mineral also necessary for the soil. if it didnt flood they would irrigate so it would flood
egypt... where else would it flood:)
first off, theNile does not flood anymore. it has been controlled by a dam that now makes Lake Nasa. but if the Nile did not flood during ancient Egypt times the villages and cities would of had to find another source of food or starve, because the Nile provided them with rich, fertile soil to grow their crops and if it didn't flood they would not of been able to grow as much food as per normal.
The Nile's flooding wasn't constant. Sometimes it would flood too much, other times it would flood too little. The Egyptians were taxed based on the flood levels.
Astronomers could predict when the nile river would flood because they studied the stars and they saw that at the time that the stars got to a certain point that the nile river would flood at that time
The Nile River floods annually, bringing fresh fertilizer to the crops. The floods can not be controlled and would occasionally destroy crops, drown homes, and or overflow the banks to heavily.
They loved seeing the Nile flood because it would make their dirt into soil and it's great for planting plants.
They made sacrifices to their Gods.
It does flood
Because the torrent of water would carry sediment, as does any flood, and this would be deposited when the Nile overflowed its banks.
