What did ancient Egyptian slaves wear?

Their most basic garments were made of undyed flax cloth. Some may have had linen.

Most male slaves wore a short linen kilt whilst their female counterparts a skirt extending from their shoulder to their knees or ankles. The cloth was usually coarse and unbleached.

If you were an important slave you wore the same as your master. How well dressed you were showed how wealthy your master or mistress was.

Many slaves who worked building the temples and monuments, worked in the quarries or mines wore no clothes at all.

Most slaves dressed like like the majority of the population a linen schenti (loincloth or kilt) worn by the men, and the kalasiris a long close-fitting sheath dress worn by women. Some the tomb paintings show dancing girls and musicians wearing little more than beads and necklaces preserving their modesty by wearing a string of beads around their middle.

The most important slaves wore similar clothes to their owners reflecting the wealth of those who owned them.

Slaves working on the land, building the monuments, temples, working in the quarries and mines were given no clothes to wear, they went naked.
