The Oracle of Delphi instructed Hercules to serve King Eurystheus of Tiryns for twelve years as atonement for the tragic act of killing his children in a fit of madness, which had been induced by Hera. During this time, he was to complete a series of seemingly impossible tasks, known as the Twelve Labors of Hercules, which would ultimately lead to his redemption and purification. This journey not only served as punishment but also as a path to reclaim his honor and identity.
Delphi
The oracle of Delphi, i think
Hercules consulted the Oracle of Delphi for guidance on how to atone for the tragic act of killing his family, driven mad by Hera. The oracle instructed him to serve King Eurystheus and complete a series of twelve labors, which were meant to be nearly impossible tasks. These labors not only tested his strength and courage but also served as a path to redemption and ultimately his acceptance among the gods.
The oracle instructed him to avenge the murder of his father.
The Oracle
Oracle
No, the oracle was selected among the virgins of Delphi.
King Eurystheus (and the Oracle at Delphi). In a fit of madness, induced by the goddess Hera, Hercules slew his wife, Megara, and their three children. The fit then passed and realizing what he had done, he isolated himself, going into the wilderness and living alone. He was found (by his cousin Theseus) and convinced to visit the Oracle at Delphi to regain his honor. The Oracle told him that as a penance he would have to perform a series of ten tasks, or labours, set by King Eurystheus, the man who had taken Hercules' birthright and the man he hated the most.
the oracle told him to to become a slave to a king. by this he completed his 12 labors and was then freed
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head(without looking it up) is the oracle of delphi.
Oracle of Delphi
Delphi was a Greek city. In its Apollo temple resided the famous oracle, the Pythia.
delphi
No.
The Oracle of Delphi
the slim shadey oracle ran over to the dull poopey delphi and screamed and pooped on him!
The role of the oracle of Delphi was to cast prophecies like the prophecy that Cronos children would be greater than him so he ate them.
