2. He must plow the field, and plant dragon teeth.
3. The dragon teeth turn into an army and he must defeat the army.
He only does so with help from Medea, who he then betrays.

∙ 9y agoKing Aeetes set Jason three tasks before he would be given the Golden Fleece. The tasks were designed to either discourage Jason from attempting, or to kill him in the process.
They were:
- To plow a field with the Khalkotauroi, fire-breathing oxen, that he had to yoke himself.
- To sow the field with seeds given to him by Aeetes (which were, in fact, Dragon's Teeth).
- To reap what was sown in a single day.
The Teeth, when sown into the earth, became giants that attacked Jason. Jason, to defeat them, threw a rock in amongst them. Unable to tell from where it came, they attacked on another, leaving Jason to reap their swords and helmets unfettered.
