I don't believe that Hesiod ever actually states which God he believed was most powerful but I would believe that it would be Zeus.

the most powerful god definitely isn't Zeus, not even close to him. it CHAOS in greek mythology. im sorry for that i did made few mistakes :P

KHAOS (or Chaos) was the first of the Protogenoi (primeval gods) to emerge at the creation of the universe. She was followed in quick succession by Gaia (Earth), Tartaros (the Underworld) and Eros (Love the life-bringer).

Khaos was the lower atmosphere which surrounded the earth - invisible air and gloomy mist. Her name khaos literally means the gap, the space between heaven and earth. Khaos was the mother or grandmother of the other substances of air: Nyx (Night),Erebos (Darkness), Aither (Light) and Hemera (Day), as well as the various emotion-affecting Daimones which drifted through it. She was also a goddess of fate like her daughter Nyx and grand-daughters the Moirai.

She's a creatress, important but not viewed as powerful. Zeus, however is the King of the Gods and counted among the most powerful.

well yes you definetely seem to have huge amount of knowledge about all the gods(more than i do i agree) but like she was the 1st god who exsisted right? and thoerically she's more powerful than any other because others came from her as im guessing? i think she didn't have physical form but could create others.

what do you think?

And what the heck is 'green phytology'?

Its hard to said how powerful Khaos is She doesn't really do anything after creating the world. I think its kind of like comparing a blacksmith to a warrior. The blacksmith made the sword but the warrior is the one who uses it.

If you want a good site for Greek mythology check theoi.com, they have all of the sources in one place.
