Fencing, Stakes you can put in the ground and attach the dog's collar to so that he/she wont be able to reach it, A door (Closed and locked) to the garden house, or training such as letting him/her outside and if he/she tried to go towards it say loudly "No!" or "Bad!" if they obey and stay roaming away from that area reward the dog with a treat.. With my dog a simple pat usually is her reward and she learns. Might be different with a younger one. I would recomend doing lots of training and maby going to a class on it for a younger dog. Pet stores such as Petco or Petsmart provide this for a cost I belive.
