To calculate the weight of any horse, pony, mule, or donkey use the following method perfected by Texas A&M universities equine sector:
First you'll need a pencil, paper, calculator, and a seamstresses measuring tape.
Next measure the length of the horse from point of shoulder to point of buttock and write that number down(This is done in inches and pounds). Third measure the heart girth and write that number down. Now do the following equation Girth X girth X length divide by 330. The final number is the equines weight in pounds.
Draft horse species weighs from 1800 pounds to 2300 pounds. So, yes, a draft horse can weigh a ton.
A horses head averages to be 2-6 ponds large depending on actual size of horse.
Well the average third grader weighs about 90 pounds while the average draft horse weighs 1,400-2,000 pounds. So that would mean you'd need 15.5-22.2 third graders to equal one draft horse.
Depending on the horse breed and size I would asume and adult to weigh about the same as a domesticated horse. Between 800 and 1500 pounds is my logicated guess.
Arabian horses tend to weigh from 850-1,100 pounds.
The number of ounces a horse weighs depends on how many pounds it weighs. Remember one pound is 16 ounces. Equines can weigh anything from 250 pounds for a Miniature horse up to 3000 pounds for a Brabant. That means a horse could weigh in at 4,000 to 48,000 ounces depending on breed.
I'm 9 and i weigh about 78-80 pounds
The weight of the horse depends on the breed, I have a thoroughbred and he weighs roughly 1200 pounds, a small pony around 13.5 hands could weigh around 400 to 500 pounds. But a typical horse at about 15 hands would weigh about 1100 pounds.
About 13 pounds
That really depends upon the species and the age of the wolf in question. They can weigh up to 100 pounds or more. The largest of wolves can weigh 165 pounds or more.A standard Grey wolf would weigh about 75 to 125 pounds. This would vary somewhat with, say, arctic wolves who are somewhat smaller on average. Mexican wolves, smaller on average and the red wolf also smaller on average. ( in North America ).Wolves weigh 80 - 175 pounds, though small subspecies weigh 44-84 pounds.
An average child would weigh approximately 38.7% of their weight on Mercury compared to Earth. This means that if a child weighs 50 pounds on Earth, they would weigh around 19.35 pounds on Mercury. Mercury's weaker gravity compared to Earth is responsible for this difference in weight.
6,666,666,666 people weighing an average of 150 pounds each would weigh a total of 1 trillion (1,000,000,000,000) pounds.
