Cyanobacteria were the first organisms to produce oxygen from water and carbon dioxide. When the oxygen levels increased, an ozone layer developed, which blocked excess ultraviolet light from reaching the land. This made it possible for organisms to move onto land without being killed by UV light. Additionally, the oxygen created an atmosphere that permitted aerobic organisms to evolve, and aerobic organisms were the majority of those that ended up colonizing the land.
it might have played with the extinction of animals because of new habitats and some animals can't adapt.

The formulation of the theory of evolution by Charles Darwin provided a framework for understanding the origins and development of species, including humans. This influenced the field of psychology by highlighting the idea of continuity between animals and humans, leading to the emergence of comparative psychology and evolutionary psychology which examine behavior and mental processes from an evolutionary perspective. It also contributed to the development of theories such as natural selection and adaptation as explanations for psychological processes.

The term coevolution (affect) is used to describe cases where two (or more) species reciprocally affect each other's evolution. So for example, an evolutionary change in the morphology of a plant, might affect the morphology of an herbivore that eats the plant, which in turn might affect the evolution of the plant, which might affect the evolution of the herbivore and so on.
