If you are squeamish about seeing or disposing of dead mice, choose the new type of disposable covered snap traps that enclose the mouse completely in the trap. Poison is probably not the best option because you do not want to have mice consuming poison and then dying inside the walls of your home. Also, poison is very dangerous to children and pets.
