The African Javan rhinoceros, also known as the Javan rhinoceros, belongs to the family Rhinocerotidae. This family comprises all species of rhinoceroses, characterized by their thick skin and one or two horns on their snouts. The Javan rhinoceros is one of the most endangered species of rhinoceros, primarily found in Ujung Kulon National Park in Indonesia.
