In the sea where else?

Second Answer by Editor: Squids need warmer tropical ocean waters. They are often found in places like the Mediterranean Sea, in the Southern Hemisphere in areas like the Pacific Islands, Asia, Japan, Australia, India and places located on the Equator. There are squids in the USA in places like Southern California's Pacific coast and the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean islands. They cannot survive in the arctic regions or very cold waters. Squid is considered a delicacy to eat in many Asian nations and some restaurants in the USA actually serve them (mostly in the Asian restaurants or specialty seafood restaurants, not grocery stores commonly).

If you want to see squids go to the web site for Sea World or Marine World. They keep squids there and breed them too.
