Lamma may possibly be, according to Wikipedia (depending on what you mean by "lamma"):

  • Lamma Island, also known as Pok Liu Chau, is the third-largest island of Hong Kong, located southwest of the Hong Kong island.
  • A dialect of the Western Pantar language
  • A protective female diety of the Mesopotamin mythology
  • LAMMA, an acronym to "Lincolnshire Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association."

If you are referring to an animal that has the name of lamma, it's possible you made a spelling error in reference to the Llama. Wild llamas are located in the Andes, which borders the countries of Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Peru. However, since llamas are primarily domesticated, and though also found in these South American countries, they are also found in Canada and the USA on many farms and ranches.
