That is an easy one many animals you wouldn't think of eat junk like that. Animals such as coyotes, bears, obviously a raccoons, and last and probably most surprising is sharks. All of these animals in harsh times will turn to garbage. Coyotes do that in the winter, bears in Maine lets say will hack peoples garbage cans when like food like rabbits are low. Sharks then eat garbage things like aluminum cans. The only reason scientists believe that is because sharks are drawn to shiny things like sparkly lures for big game fishermen. Then to answer nothing usually happens to these animals, but rarely will some of them die from disease or food poisoning from the food.
There are no bugs that eat plastic. Plastic is not digestible to any animal or plant. However, scientists are looking into a bacteria that eats plastic.
