Why don't black men take care of their children?

This is a racial stereotype which simply does not apply to all black men.

There are quite a few men of all races that do not take care of their children; just as there are many responsible black men who do in fact take care of their own.

The better question is why has this become such a stereotype.

In the end its about as racist as asking why do black people like chicken? Which ignores the simple fact that pretty much every race seems to like chicken, but some comedian or other person in media mouthed the words to the masses and the general public followed along with the stereotype like sheep and applied it en mass.

So, why does any man not take care of their child regardless of his race?

Lazy, immature, ignorant, scared, take your pick, but I guarantee whatever answer you come up with is irrelevant to his color.
