Humans are more intelligent and sophisticated, but every life is worth something. Animals are an easy target, and they are paying for it. Many humans abuse animals, and thousands of animals die every year, circuses, animal testing and humans kill animals all the time. Baby seal clubbing, whaling, pollution and oil spills are very bad for wildlife. Animals can't stop this, so humans have to, that is why animal rights are important.
