The rates of cultural change has occurred through cultural Diffusion. A family may see other cultures doing something their culture don't usually do. And adopt it. For example, Televisions, radios, and the internet spread Culture's customs a lot.

One example of a culture that adopted another cultures custom would be when Japan saw us playing Baseball, and they thought it looked cool, and tried it. Now days Japan players have made it to Baseball finals across the country.
