If it's a wooden seat, it's often called a stool; it can have three or four legs. If it's lower to the ground (like an ottoman), it's a tussock.
a long, soft seat with a back and usually arms
Maybe a adirondack chair
Grab it from underneath the front of the back seat and exert a little pressure to jerk it up. It won't hurt the seat. The battery is located under the back seat. The seat goes back with no problem.
a stool is a seat with three or four legs but with nothing to support your back or arms while a chair is a piece of furniture to sit on with a back, a seat and four legs
The homonym for autumn is "ottoman," which refers to a type of low, upholstered seat without a back or arms.
There is a little lever on the bottom of the seat. Pull that out and close the seat so that the backrest is touching the bottom of the seat. Then pull out the handle on the side of the back of the seat. The seat will then unlock from the hinges.
Only a little, move your seat to the 'cantle' at the back of the saddle and circle your pelvis so that you move smoothly with your horse. :)
An antimacassar is a cover for the back arms of a chair or sofa, originally for the intention of keeping the seat safe from being soiled by macassar oil.
press the back buttons to swing your arms
There is a little black knob on the top left back of the car you see when you raise the trunk lid. Pull that knob. If you close the trunk before putting the seat down it will push the knob back in and lock the seat again.
To get the seat base out, grab it, lift up a little and pull it out. The back comes out with two huge Torx screws. An Allen wrench might work.
I'm assuming you are talking about folding the bottom of the seat forward so that the back of the seat can fold down flat with the cargo area. I have a 1998 Legacy Wagon Brighton and there is a strap that is supposed to be sticking up between the bottom of the seat and the back of the seat. It's located just a little to the passenger side from the center of the seat. Pulling that strap unlatches the seat from the car and it will flip forward. If you need to you can undo the 2 hinges at the front of the seat to find the strap. I had to do that as it is pretty hard to get your hand between the bottom of the seat and the back of the seat.
