The 1979 Chevrolet 350 motor typically produced around 145 to 185 horsepower, depending on the specific configuration and whether it was used in cars, trucks, or other applications. The lower output was often due to emissions regulations and changes in engine tuning during that era. It's important to check the specific model and any modifications for precise figures.
