The answer is yes!! Earlier years offered a V8 version and those motor mounts will work for the 1980 version. I had a 350 mounted in mine. You also need to find the shorter turbo 350 trasmission that mounts with the Chevy V8. This was my first engine swap and there were only a few complications. It's a tight fit and changing spark plugs is tough. With the standard rear end you can light up the tires at 25 mph with no problem.
