You really should think about asking the Harley Dealer Maintenance guys why your baby is doing this. I know if my 90 FXR was they would be my first source of information.
Good Luck This may happen if you haven't driven your FXR in a while or you overfill your oil. What happens is that the oil will collect at the bottem of your crankcase. What you need to do is, run you bike for a good 10-15 minutes before taking off or just ride more. This is common on the FXR's Evo engine, but it may be a different problem if it continues. You should have it checked by a professional.
The crank sensor on a 2001 Malibu is located on the bottom of the engine near the crank shaft. It monitors the rotation and speed of the crank shaft.
In most cases the crank pulley bolts to the balancer so the crank pulley would not be the same as the harmonic balancer.
In most engines, yes only if the crank is not damaged and measures correctly.
I want to elaborate this hole is below the crank, the crank chamber does not hold pressure and does not hold oil. so can i put a weld patch over it and call it done?well if there is a hole in it can it really hurt to try it?
on the front of the motor under the front crank it has a plug going to the crank.
the crank position sensor is located in front of the oil filter on the left side of the engine in front.
Crank case breather. The vaccum from the intake sucks air from the crank case to optimize performance. Particlized oil gets suck in. Nothing to be worried about. if you want to get rid of it. Purchase or build a catch can.
It sounds like there is too much pressure in the crank case, causing oil fumes to be cycled through the breather. High pressure in the crank case is caused by worn cylinder bores, allowing 'blow by'.
Crank Squad raps this song... lol i love this song too...
Soulja boy tell'em - Crank That
this bike holds 4 quarts of oil in the crank case always replace the filter
Too full or bike has been sitting too long. Start it up a run it a while. Check oil level first.
High Oil Pressure In an engine usually comes from a clogged crank case breather, or bad oil pump.. best advise is to do a pm and hope for the best
The crank shaft sensor on a 1998 BMW 74Oil is located down near the crank on the front of a motor. It is super easy to replace but sometimes reaching the harness wire is a little bit difficult.
The Super-streak is relatively new. I suggest that you contact Crosman (They own Benjamin) and send it back to them under warranty for repair.www.crosman.com click on Customer service.

Generally caused by worn rings allowing cylinder compression to bypass the rings and pressurize the crankcase. the only way this pressure is releaved is through the crank case breather which discharges into the air filter housing taking oil with it.
