make sure the car isn't over heating. it can over heat without showing on the gauge or light. check your coolent fluid level, if it's ok make sure the thermostat is ok. have your heat sending unit replaced as it can be faulty also. another problem can be the computer putting it out of time when it is warmed up. have it checked as soon as possible because these small engines can't take much overheating.

Vauxhall cavalier why do the side lights come on when the car parked and the indicators wor sometimes?

If you leave the indicators on when the ignition is off the sidelights or parking lights will be turned on. Just an alternative to leaving all the parking lights on in order to save battery use. Eg if you are parked in a poorly lit area for a while.

Should your wheels be turned to or away from the curb when parked?

Your front wheels should be turned so that, if your car were to roll it would turn into the curb. If your car is facing downhill, the front wheels should be turned into the curb. If your car is facing uphill, your front wheels should be turned away from the curb.
