Try turning on the key for a couple seconds and see if it will start then. Sometimes a fuel pump doesn't build enough pressure and isn't holding pressure when you try to crank the enigine. If that's what's going on, you shouldn't worry about it.

A Trailblazer that squeaks only when turning to the left could have a problem with the steering or front wheel bearing. Turning to the left puts the right pressure on the parts to cause them to squeak.
The clicking noise you can hear is the starter solenoid clicking into place. If the starter motor does not turn the engine immediately, it is probably the best place to look. it sounds like the starter motor is faulty.
My wife and I purchased a Sebring (1998) that had the same problem. We were told it is the chip in the key. The key needs to be replaced.
That is usually a good sign that your starter is going bad and will probably stop working all together before to long.
