2000 wrangler 40 will not start on first turn of the key but then starts immediately after turning off and trying a second time beginning of a bigger problem?

Try turning on the key for a couple seconds and see if it will start then. Sometimes a fuel pump doesn't build enough pressure and isn't holding pressure when you try to crank the enigine. If that's what's going on, you shouldn't worry about it.
