if all the other electronic parts work such as lights and and horn then it's probably a starter selinoid!
Check for fusible link, sometimes located close to battery, if it goes bad you will not get any power any wher. Battery could be dead..
An auto battery could be leaking for a couple of reasons. The alternator could be overcharging the battery causing the leakage. Or the battery itself could have a short or other internal problem causing it to leak when charging.
I had the same problem. I had been using a very poor battery that was almost flat all of the time. All battery connections turned out to be in good order, worried about the engine begining to seize up hbut found it turned freely by hand. the problem turned out to be the starter motor that had broken down due to constant use of a poor battery condition. Please check your battery condition, connections, that engine turns freely and your starter motor. A lot of garages do a start and charge check very cheaply.
could be the alternator. could be the battery, the alternator charges the battery but does not stop the battery holding a charge.could also be a bad starter motor. take alternator off and have it tested. most places will test for free
Could be anything electrical drawing current. Alternator could be bad, glove box, trunk, hood light not going out. The battery or cables being very dirty can give the battery enough connection to ground and drain the battery. Battery itself could be bad and not holding a charge.

The headlights on the 2002 Toyota Tacoma might work on dim but not on high beam because of a blown fuse. If the headlights are too dim to see properly in the dark, there could also be a problem with the alternator and the charging system in the vehicle.
5 years is about average. But it could last 7 years or no more than 3 years. Every time you run the battery down that will shorten the life of the battery.
