A friend ran out of gas in his 2001 cavalier he put gas back in and now it wont start is there a fuel reset switch or could there be a bigger problem?

sometimes u need to put some gas in the intake ,anoher thing; if u run out of gas alot or run on E alot u will malfunction ur fuel pump

I had this same problem when i bought my cavalier. I had the ignition lock\key part changed and I changed the ignition switch myself and it worked fine. Now I have yet another problem.
